Established as "Procurement and Vehicle Unit" under Central Division (Royal Gazette, 3 Nov 1988).

1997

Restructured as "Procurement Group" under Finance Division (Royal Gazette, 11 Mar 1997).

1998

Transitioned to an autonomous university (KMUTT Act, 6 Mar 1998).

2013

Renamed to "Procurement and Asset Management Office", commencing office-level mission on 1 Oct 2013.

2017 - Present

Relocated to 6th Floor, Multipurpose Building (19 Dec 2017).
